The detection of lower quality olive oil being added to the Agricultural Credit Union Agricultural Products Natural Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which is on the Imitation Adulteration list published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was found in only one batch of production in 2020.
The detection regarding the addition of lower quality olive oil to the Tarım Kredi Birlik Tarım Ürünleri Natural Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which is included in the Imitation Adulteration list published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was encountered in only one batch of production from 2020. The reason for this detection made in 2021 is related to the product losing its extra virgin olive oil quality due to storage conditions and prolonged shelf life. There was no different seed oil in any oil type produced by Tarım Kredi.
The necessary objections were made regarding this situation arising from the legislation and the issue was referred to the law. In addition, the company mentioned in the list no longer continues its commercial life and does not produce oil. Tarım Kredi Oil Company, which carries out its commercial activities only in the oil sector with the modernization and growth investments made after 2022, produces oil for our consumers at high quality standards with the control systems it has established from field to table.
